Below are changes from UMP 1.002 to Next Gen 2.0.
Game rendering is optimized using Narzoul's DDRAW engine.
Some of the changes may be undocumented.

1. Audio Visual Changes:

2. Gameplay Changes:
- AI Improvements:
-- AI won't build structures slower in Normal and Hard difficulty.
-- AI won't clone units when having multiple factories.
-- AI Major Superweapon Targeting will pick random target, rather than always prioritizing War Factory as a target.
-- Increased AI Distance while gathering nearby enemy base from 20 cells to 24 cells. (It means farther than before)
-- More AI options when fighting against Yuri side.

- Proper Tech Level sorting.
- Players can't see enemy/neutral veterancy.
- Each side will spawn their own Engineers when corresponding ConYard is destroyed.

- Added Tech Secret Lab as a Tech Structures in Random Map Generator (RMG).

- Changed Rocketeer, Aegis Cruiser and SEAL prerequisites from Every Side's Radar to Allied Radar only.
- Changed Chrono Legionnaire and Aircraft Carrier prerequisites from Every Side's Battle Lab to Allied Battle Lab only.
- Changed Siege Chopper's prerequisite from Every Side's Battle Lab to Soviet Battle Lab only.
- Changed Virus' prerequisite from Every Side's Radar to Yuri Radar only.

- Spies are now cannot disguise as Brutes, Animals (including Dinosaurs), Rocketeers, Heroes and any Chrono Infantry.
- Tanya, Boris, and Yuri Prime are now cannot be cloned from Cloning Vats.
- Tanya, Boris, and Yuri Prime are now fearless (not crawling).
- Yuri and Yuri Prime are now gaining experience from Mind-Controlling enemy and from the Mind-Controlled unit.
- IFV and Battle Fortress are now gaining experience from passengers.
- Passengers inside IFV and Battle Fortress are now gaining experience.
- Harvesters are now spill Ores when destroyed.
- Flak Tracks are now unable to crush infantry.
- V3 Rockets are now no longer to give sights to the player.
- Magnetrons are now no longer to attack while moving.
- Gap Generators are now able to deploy to increase Gap radius from 10 cells to 15 cells, with extra 100 Power as a cost.
- Allied Patriot Missiles are now attacking paratroopers.

- Refund amount for grinding a President reduced to zero. (This is to prevent a multiplayer exploit.)
- President no longer transforms the IFV. (This is to prevent a multiplayer exploit.)
- Chrono Commando IFV and Psi Commando IFV are named as such (like SEAL/Tanya/Boris), instead of "Machine Gun IFV".
- Flak Trooper IFV is named as such, instead of "Machine Gun IFV". Now uses 'high-tech' turret instead of 'machine gun' turret.
