Yea his pistol is based off of some early 19th century WW1 to 1920-30s pistols that also had attachable stocks like the Mauser C96 and FN Browning M1935 HP for examples.
Steyr Hahn M.12 / P.16 machine pistol, with extended magazine (holding 16 rounds) and a detachable shoulder stock-holster.
