Can you believe we still flying the first prototypes of this plane ?
Well Iran and half a dozen nations around the world is still flying them. Hell Iran even made a gen 4 outta it. Can you tell me why the hell Brazil haven't started it's own indigenous fighter program yet?
Brazil keeps modernizing this little -ultra old- planes. We were trying to buy a new plane (with full technology transference), but we failed. We didn't choose our aircraft in time. About creating one ourselves, we tried with the AMX (with italian participation), quite successful, but, for a mystical reason, we are not trying to do it anymore.
