The 501st Legion, also known as the 501st Battalion during the Clone Wars and later known as "Vader's Fist" and the Five Hundred and First, was an elite unit of clone troopers commissioned by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine during the Clone Wars that later became a stormtrooper unit. Made up of units like Torrent Company, the 501st fought in many battles, such as the Battle of Teth and the Battle of Coruscant, becoming one of the most well-known legions. In 19 BBY, the 501st became Darth Vader's personal unit as he led them during Operation: Knightfall, in which the clones helped take down the Jedi, whom they believed to be traitors to the Republic.

We are also looking at suitable textures for Hoth (made by Sceluk), but unfortunately we don't have
anything to show you for that.

Member Andy_Ftw is learning the vehicle code in CE3 so we will be able to get the
vehicles all up and running in no time.

Finally, [RES]Sev has made an awesome page for over at resholonet.com (needs updating): Resholonet.com.br

That's all for now folks,

May the force be with you...

With Crysis 2 at so cheap on Amazon, and this, I actually have a reason to get Crysis 2. I gotta give you guys credit for that, because I disliked the game in demo form.

I see some people are still mislead by the saying that this is Crysis 2 mod. We are using CryEngine 3 Free SDK and from my perspective you don't need to buy Crysis 2 to play it unless you want to try it out no matter what the demo was ;)

Well it is useful to buy Crysis 2 if you want (one: support crytek, buy it on steam if you can, dont give money to EA on orgin). and also you can get an idea of the grpahics and AI and tech possible.

Yea, that's also true. We couldn't have done anything like this without crytek.

I... have not had the best opinion of Crytek. I have not heard the best things about their company, and their games always seem like they'll be a Skyrim -- better in concept than in the final execution.

Also, I have CryEngine 3 already installed on my PC thanks to an indie project I was volunteering for a while back, so I know how it'll handle on my PC. With my new AMD card, I should be able to handle it. In theory I'll even be able to handle most DX11 options, granted that without optimization the game would probably run at about 20-40 FPS.

I've got CryEngine 3 already on my PC from a project I did some volunteering for, so I know I'll be able to handle it.

And... I've not heard the best things about Crytek to begin with. And I'd probably get it through Amazon, they have way better prices than Steam usually does (outside of the Steam Sale bonanzas annually)

Ah, I merely said that because of what the ModDB page says. Sorry for the misunderstanding. And no... I don't want to play Crysis 2.
