Zombie Grinder is the debut game of TwinDrills, an indie game development duo made up of Tim 'Infini' Leonard and Jordan 'Jordizzle' Chewning. It's a multi-platform (windows, mac, Linux!) (also Free!) cooperative multiplayer arcade game, reminiscent in style and gameplay of retro games like 'Zombies Ate My Neighbors' and 'Super Smash TV!', but with the added benefit of some newer game mechanics - achievements, ranking, player-customization, rpg style stats and so forth. The game sports a variety of different game modes, from co-operative 'campaign' style levels, to wave maps and even the classic 'pvp' style game modes - deathmatch, capture the 'bag' and so forth. All of these mods are bristling with a variety of weapons and items, all lovingly displayed in Jordan's classic quirky pixel-art style.

Sorry if anyone made a similar topic before, but here I am xDD

So, I play AVABEL ONLINE and I'm part of the american Facebook group. I left my review on ZG there and invited ppl to play with me and a guy came with an idea I had sometime ago: what if ZG were ported to Andriod? I personally think it's a great idea. ZG fits perfectly in that idea of "play a little when you're bored, anywhere" and could be a hit on mobile devices. I'm not saying it's easy to make this kind of porting or whatever, this is just an idea that would be great if true.

Plus, everytime I log in I don't see as much players as before :/ What's happening with ZG? Am I loging in the wrong days and times? o.O Having it on Google Play and ppl's devices would be a great idea to make it more popular, I guess..

Anyways, this is just an idea ^.^ Please, if you disagree, don't be a pain and say whatever. Give arguments, let's truly talk about this, will we? :)

We're looking into it, iOS as well.

It will take considerable time to do though, as it requires a lot of rewriting.

If we did go down this route though the versions would have to be monetized in some way, otherwise we would end up loosing considerably more than we currently do on server hosting and development time.

As for number of people. Depends when you login! 1am - 6am GMT tends to be the most busy.

Pretty good to know :D I can imagine it takes time, specially all this profit details, but I'm very happy that you guys thought of it :)

You're doing an amazing work and is good to see it growing, since I know it almost from the beginning ;) Hope everything goes alright and I'm excited to see it on Steam too :D btw, many games on Google Play use cash system to stay up and it works (I guess you already know that, but I'll keep saying xDD). Like Dead Trigger, for most of the weapons you need cash to buy and people actually buy cash (cos getting it for free via announcements didn't work for me, at least). Spell Sword too and some MMOs. These examples I gave are free to download and play, but as I said, some features require cash. But I personally don't think would be great to make it free to download, play, but make all and every feature p2p, as in World of Magic, an interesting MMO, but the tutorial is lame, so I couldn't do much cos I didn't knew how to do and I couldn't even sell my loot cos I needed to be a member to do everything. I uninstalled, frustrated, but I still have Dead Trigger and Spell Sword, two of which I haven't uninstalled since the 1st time I got them. So, maybe making a balance between free items and features and paid ones would be great :D

1am-6am :oo Gotta see when is that on Brazil :S Thx btw :D The other day I tried talking to ppl on the chat, but it was no use :/ I was there for 5-15 minutes and no one said anything D:
