ACE Team is releasing a post launch Zeno Clash trailer to celebrate the announcement of ACE Team's next project; Zeno Clash 2. The studio has begun planning the next game of the series which will continue the adventures of Ghat, who will struggle against new and old conflicts. Father Mother, the mysterious Golem and new characters will be making an appearance in the next title. The story will be set after the events that take place in the first game. ACE Team wants the next installment to be much larger in scope, so the new game will feature open ended gameplay with large explorable environments and RPG elements. The unique melee combat system that made the first game a success will also be expanded to feature even more brutal and engaging gameplay.
In addition to the announcement of this news we'd like to send word that a new update for Zeno Clash has been released. The most noticeable changes are the inclusion of Health and Time counters in the Challenge Mode and Italian subtitles are now supported.
ACE Team is still hard at work developing additional free DLC for Zeno Clash which will be released during the following weeks.
Awesome, I was hoping zeno clash would have been more of an adventure exploration game when it was first announced, and sounds like zeno clash 2 will be more like that. Can't wait to play the next installment of this great game!

It will be interesting to see how they outdo themselves. While I was converted to the brawler style of Zeno Clash, I'll be interested to see how Zeno Clash 2 does as a non-linear game.

I wonder what engine they'll work with on the sequel, they'd have to heavily modify Source to get it streaming open environments, I think.

I hope they can out-do Zeno Clash. The first one made some new standards in FPS storytelling and combat, in my opinion. I'm very excited about this.

I completely disagree I think the story was pretty spectacular.
dunno about you, but i saw the main story "twist ?" miles away, also the whole golem guy thing was never explained, and the end of the world bit felt way to rushed.

Looks great, love the direction the new one is taking. as far as the story discussed earlier, i thought it was ok, but the pacing was god awful. worst part of the game for me.
