i like the reflection and the grass a lot. The only thing off is that structure in the middle. Looks very blocky and odd. Oh well. Good luck with the rest of the game.

It's a tech demo showing off the engine, not a screenshot to showcase the architecture masterworks. The "structure in the middle" just shows how the water reflects objects, so looking amazing isn't even important. Anyways, I'm curious as to what engine this is running on and why people take so damn much time with water. Sure, if it looks pretty that's nice and all, but it's just water - has very little bearing on gameplay at all unless you sink like a rock in it.

I disagree.
Water is an important element, as is nearly ANYTHING with a standalone game.

The grass and water is great, but I would try and change one thing...
The water needs a blue tint for clean water or a brownish tint for murky water.
If possible, try and add depth by making the water transparent rather than just reflecting everything. (That's probably asking for too much)

Apart from that, it's nearly perfect and I congratulate you on a great start.
