Xenonauts has had a successful few months - read on to see our press coverage from the Eurogamer Expo, an update on the status of the game and some information on what is coming next!

It's been a while since we posted here. We've been really busy with two major things in the past two months. The first is the Eurogamer Expo, where we were picked from a field of over a hundred indie games to be given free demonstration space to show the game off at the biggest game Expo in the UK.

Xenonauts Mission Loss

The reception to the game was fantastic, and it was really good to meet some of our fans (and hopefully make new ones too). However, the biggest bonus was the press coverage we got. The two most high profile previews we recieved were from Rock Paper Shotgun and Totalbiscuit, both of which are linked below:

The second big thing was us recieving a huge wave of pre-orders as a result of this great coverage. This pretty much immediately resulted in us having our account and money locked by Paypal. Full details linked below:

So over the past month we've been busy working on our two new websites - our official site at Xenonauts.com and our community site at Goldhawkinteractive.com . Both are now online, and we've got shiny new forums and all that.

But now we can go back to concentrating on developing the game. Our game is now available for pre-order through Desura at a reduced price of $20 (check the sidebar on the right), so a huge thanks to all the guys there who helped us through what would otherwise have been a difficult period.

Finally, next weekend we'll be launching Build V8 of our game, which will have a whole host of new features and will basically be the first fully-playable version of the game (as opposed to individual missions). You can read full details about it here:
Goldhawkinteractive.com!

We'll post some more substantial news soon too, but until then you can check out our new site and our updated media galleries on this site.
