Comparison: 296 fps without lights,
April Fools Day
I don't know about you guys, but since my screen only runs at 60hz, I really don't see the point of having a game running at 300fps.
I'd prefer better textures and a game running at 60fps.
Also removing the artificial light sources may improve fps, but to me this just seems like avoiding the issue. I don't know how you guys work, but maybe the way you implemented them is just not efficient enough.
To have lighting without a light source doesn't seem to make sense if you want to create a coherent universe.
I totally agree with every point... well, happy aprils fools' day ;p
for laptops I guess...
Maybe this will play on notebooks and netbooks with integrated video.
