ABOUT THE GAME
Wounded is a nerve racking first person horror game that is one step closer to the world of fear, unforgiveness, anxiety and all round terror!
As you progress through the old and abandoned world of “Wounded”, searching for your daughter, you uncover the deep dark secrets that the place has buried in its wall and ground. Every clue that you gather and every secret that you uncover helps you to guide your way through the game and not to fall into your own nightmares. Swift moves, reflexes, and stealth are your weapons of choice to insure your survival and to maximize the chances of finding your daughter… Alive.

PHILOSOPHY
Wounded doesn't solely rely on jump scares to create a threating experience; the premise is paranoia and concern, the fear of the unknown. Carefully picked sounds and soundtrack will contribute to the full horror experience. There’s imminent danger and also very immediate threats you have to face. Things can go wrong, quickly, and most of the time your own actions are what leads to your own ascendance or demise. Make your own choices, think twice before every step.

GAMEPLAY
Inner strength is required in order to find your way out, and it's definitely not a game for the lighthearted.
Walking in the shoes of Bureck Simith, you are armed with your own wits and will to find your daughter. Mistery is a part of the game, thus you will have to treat carefully and choose your options, wisely. Every step counts. It can either lead you to your daugter or it can lead to death.
Follow your instincts and conquer your own fear, collect evidence, solve puzzles and learn more about the surroundings as you go.

Devblog #2 | Audio

News

This week in the devblog we dig deeper into the audio production of Wounded.

Let’s jump in our work process. For audio, we have couple of sources.

For voice acting, we have local studios that we use to record all acts. To maximize the result we usually do one voice per day so we can get more samples and later to choose the best one while editing.

Working locally on vocals is much better because we have more control over the recordings, so we can make suggestions and explain the backstory and environment so the actor can perfectly fit the act.

Once all voices are recorded, we head to a separate editing studio and we go over everything and polish it as much as we can to fit perfectly into the scenes. Same thing goes with some easier sound effects or voice effects.

All other audio, including important sound effects and soundtracks are done from different source in France, with probably more experience than any of us combined which is epic!

We can’t wait to show you the finished product with everything compiled into an actual game! That day is closer than ever!

Man I know I scream at pretty much everything but this game really scared the crap out of me. It wasn't even the jumpscares but even just the perfect use of small noises in the background and eerie music. Kudos to you guys! I hope that your kickstarter is successful. I have to see what happens next!

Судя по прохождениям на ютубе, игра не плохая, но когда я решил сам поиграть в нее, то у меня выдало ошибку, и игра закрылась. Пожалуйста помогите решить проблему, если надо, то могу скинуть скриншоты.

Hey if you have any antivirus software try turning it off long enough to play the game! Sometime AV software doesnt trust some indie games so it wont let them play. When you are done just turn the AV back on!
