Wooden Floor is a horror game inside an old house that seems normal but the further you progress into the Game you start to realize that rooms change if you close a door behind you and whole corridors appear out of nowhere. Not being able to predict what is going to happen next or where you are heading for you need to make your way through the increasingly maze-like becoming house to find a way out of this bad dream that you just woke up into. The only thing that goes with you is the wooden floor underneath your feet.

Haven't played the game yet but just a friendly heads up that the read me isn't completely grammatically correct.
This is the Story section, I have put stars where I think there are errors and corrected them further down.

Absolutely fantastic! I haven't been that creeped out since Anna. I made a video of my playthrough for your appraisal. Ran into a problem picking up the key out of the drawer in the first room. I had a good experience with this, It got potential, i Like it. The jump puzzle annoyed me a bit, but i got it done, Also maybe a good idea to give keys and/or other important items a glow or something, not too obvious ofcourse. anyway..

So, my review goes like this:
+The graphics are good
+The ambience is very good
-The interaction with objects isn't very smooth, trying to pick a key inside of a bedside table is kinda hard
-The scares are quite cheap, didn't even startle me. But hey, I'm really hard to startle, they would definitely scare most people.
-I got stuck on the story, there was a locked door with a paper saying "Do you like my books?" I tried to check the books for a key but nothing, checked everything and nothing. Tried to leave doors closed and come back to them but nothing had changed.
It's not bad, but from 1 to 10 I would rate it 6
But you probably can fix most things before the full version release. Don't feel down coz this has a lot of potential!
Thanks for the feedback anyway :) the trigger of the first key was set too small this was already fixed longer time ago ;) But the fact that you call the scares "cheap" dissappoints me and I disagree at that point(the scares are not ment to blow your head away with a ridiculous loud sound or a sceaming face or anything...) If they didn't get you that's ok but they are not "cheap" in any way!... Aslo there is a key for you to find in the last corridor. (I won't spoiler anything more)
I'm pretty sure I checked everything, I even opened the cupboard and the bedside table on the upside down room but all I found was some small iron balls.
You are right about the scares, not exactly cheap, I've seen very worse, in fact I just played The Two Sisters, and THAT was cheap. Really terrible 3/10 :/

Yes I know it is a demo and for me to rate it 6/10 just being a demo is already very good because I'm really judgemental and demanding when it comes to horror games.
The best I can do is give my most sincere feedback and hope that people fix whatever I point out. I'll be more than glad to get the full game when it comes out.
And I'm now going to check the private messages to see where is that damn key xd

At the moment Windows only... Maybe with future updates there will be a mac version as well
pheenix93: Does the final version of the game include UDK Unreal Licence agreement that in Licence restrictions explictly says that "You may not ... user or exploit the following in any way that results in direct or indirect compensation ... derivative works of the UDK (or any portions thereof)"?
I can see it in demo before installation :) if the full version which is paid also contains this licence agreement, I think you infridge their right.

I really wanted to play this game, but I can't get past the first room. I try to pick up the key out of the drawer, but it only closes the door again. Really kind of annoying.
You need to stand directly in front of the drawer (the trigger was set a bit tricky in demo..)I guarantee that this is not the fact in the full game :)

I really love parts in games that have this concept of things changing around the player when he's not watching them so to have a game centred around that it a dream come true. brilliant execution and great theme.
only criticisms I could give it would be to have some more variety in the changes, something like a full wall painting of a corridor that you can actually walk into if you face away and back into it, just to make the transitions a little more interesting to discover and maybe add a few more fleshed out puzzles. but I'm sure that will be included in the full game. great work, looking forward to it.
