Description
Winstratos is an arcade shoot 'em up (or just shmup), designed around the idea of an easy, precise high speed flight (achieved by mouse controls or control stick) through bases and enemy fleets, destroying as many foes as possible. To achieve maximum destruction, every playable ship has two distinct modes: one for power and another for area control. Switching constantly according to terrain and enemy positioning and knowing when to retreat and charge for better attacks is the key to victory. Additionally, players can collect coins and medals to get higher rankings and unlock additional equipment.
History
Working as a designer and illustrator, I was curious to see how my skills as a digital painter would translate into a game. So, I choose my favorite genre, the shoot 'em up, and began working on Winstratos. As I progressed, I made some experiments with game mechanics, aiming to transmit a more fluid flight sensation while making the stage backgrounds relevant as dangerous obstacles, and those are my results! Hope you guys like it!

Winstratos is an arcade shoot 'em up (or just shmup), incorporating the concept of flying fast as its core design. When you are alone, fighting an entire armada head-on isn't a very smart strategy, so hit and run tactics become the only option!
Change ship modes between fighter and mech as the situation demands, zap between enemy fleets and bases, and collect coins to increase your rank and unlock new ships!
