Most guests not just appear out of nowhere, but live and work in your city. They have personalities and are members of different factions. The player has, not only, to take care of his tavern, but also has to influence the cities politics in favor of business. This means pushing promising factions and its deputies while silently or in open conflict getting rid of unwanted persons or even become major himself.
