Picking Up Weapons
In Multiplayer Deathmatch games, simply run over a weapon lying on the ground.
If you have a free weapon slot in your inventory, you will automatically pick
the weapon up.
In other game modes, walk over to a weapon and move the crosshair over it. The
crosshair will change to a 'hand' icon. Then press the 'use' key to pick up the
weapon.
Note; you may have to drop the weapon you are already carrying. See the
controls table above for instruction on how to do this.
Interacting With Objects
Objects you can interact with will be highlighted by a 'hand' icon when you
move the crosshair over them. Then press the 'use' key.
Objects that you might expect to be able to interact with, that for some reason
you cannot will be shown with an appropriate icon. For example, a locked door
with be shown with a lock icon. A weapon or item that you cannot pick up
because your inventory is full, will be shown with a red line through the
'hand' icon.
Picking up Ammo
Ammo for a weapon you're already carrying can be picked up by walking over it.
Ammo for weapons you're not currently carrying can be picked up by moving the
crosshair over the ammo on the ground. The crosshair will change to a hand
icon, then press use to pick up the ammo.
