Jatayu, an old Vulture had attacked Ravana,the demon king who had abducted Sitamata,the wife of Lord Rama.While Ravana was taking away Sitamata in his flying machine Jatayu chased and attacked Ravana,though he could not survive the attack his legend lives on!
