Flying at Mach2+ engaging enemies left and right taking them down while evading their weapons. It has all an arcade combat airsim would want, customisability, mods, variety in units, bosses, plane variants. Many other such games only have 1 or 2 in each family while Vector Thrust tries to add all of them, from prototypes, concepts, test variants, production and even fictional variants of your favorite combat platform. It also add things like ECM, Countermeasures and other such features other combat flightsim arcades lack.

One of the main selling points is that it has loads of content for a early access Alpha and many more is to come. The community has alot to add to it in discussion and mod content, custom missions, voices etc. It comes with an editor so you can make your own epic fun missions.

Making mods is reasonably straightforward, can be confusing at times and challenging but there are many tutorials and the forums to help. The devs are nice enough, the game not too overpriced, in fact I would pay more to support it. Most things you need to be able to mod is a text editor.

The game overall is quite nicely polished as it is and has lots to place with at time of writing but lacks many things the finished product will bring in due time. Give it a chance and give it a go, if you are a fan of combat flight arcade games then this will be a joy.

You can even play as enemy bosses and units in the debug :P
