....everybody. We're up against the wall here. Mission objectives are as follows: TACHCOM is withdrawing Carrier Group 2- That's carriers Argyle, Faselbay and Satoral. We can't afford to lose them here- Cerin will surely go after them to cripple our interests in the Grakata area, and it's up to us to protect those carriers. At 1300 hours today, Task Force Taffy 3 will mobilise all remaining force application assets and commence a full-scale counterattack against the Cerin Battle Group offshore, drawing enemy attention away from the carriers as they pull out of the region.
This will be our last sortie. Whatever missile, bomb or round of ammunition has been loaded onto any serviceable aircraft we have left, and destroyers Ontos, Sotoa, and Vertiga are preparing to leave port. I will personally lead the attack from the air. Our only objective will be to ensure that the men and women on those carriers get away safely. It has been a privelage and a pleasure leading you.
