This update improves the look and feel of the intro of the game, balances many in game entities and mechanics, as well as modifying character select. MANY BUG FIXES INCLUDED!
Looks good. The interface overhaul is pretty, yet it still has the same problems of the past revision's interface.
Also I miss the ole stunning entrance to the cave. I get what you meant to accomplish with this, and a tutorial is all good and welcome, but I miss that incredible cave entrance you had.
Some more descriptive symbols, or being able to browse the descriptions of higher ranks of a certain affinity. Clearer indication of when there is an affinity point available. Bigger inventory would be nice, but it's not a must, in my book.
So far that's all. I'll update if I find more stuff.
Still, great game, can't wait for the multiplayer!
The new keybinding scheme is there to prevent multiple players from being bound to the same key for same actions. Unfortunately it's a very new implementation so it has some issues with it, I only recently decided to test it out myself. Will fix soon! (hopefully)
I think the tutorial is ok. It tells you basic stuff wich is fine. I still liked the interface in version 5-6 mire than the last two. I coulnd't play the game long enugh(due to a an annoyind control figuration) to spott any bugs so far.
The development team does use an in-game level editor, although it's unknown at this time whether or not it will be released for public use. Who knows what the future holds? Anything is possible, really..
Hello I downloaded the .rar and extracted the files into a seperate folder but as soon as I open the .exe the game pops up for a second and then just closes again.

Can you please elaborate on what problems you think should be addressed with the new menu GUI?

I have problems with freely chosing my controls. For example I cannot use the arrow keys anymore.
It's really annoying and unconfortable.

I died when I pressed space when I was outside of the dungeon and I exploded, pretty much a self-destruct.
