Description

Unleashed is a dark 2D RPG with sandbox elements. It is set in Mystria, a magical world. The main theme is "Sins & Virtues", which is illustrated by a powerful curse, which unleashed people's primordial sin or virtue. The main effect was that people weren't able to hide their dark impulses anymore, which led world into some form of chaos. This story is about Mercy, a young woman spared by the curse, which is looking for her mother.

History

The game has been inspired by famous series such as Pokemon or Final Fantasy. Our goal is to grab all the elements of the RPG we love and put them in a single game. Add to this the newest and popular features such as housing, crafting, farming, and you get Unleashed. We also wanted to work on a darker story focused on sins and virtues for a more mature audience. Lastly, we wanted to make an open world filled with details, unlike a lot of RPGs that really feel empty after some hours.

Features

  • Use your soul's parts to summon up to 10 creatures called Achivaras; each one either represents a sin or a virtue!
  • Semi turn-based battles: summon up to 3 Achivaras at a time in strategic 3v3 battles
  • Open world: explore the open world without any limitation, even at the beginning of the game
  • Farming: every map has randomly spawning resources, and almost every item can be cut down, mined, or grabbed
  • Crafting: use collected and bought materials to craft other items, which can be used or sold
  • Housing: repair houses in any of the 10 cities to make it your own! You'll be able to customize your home and place useful items in it
  • Unique theme: replace traditional types (fire, ice, wind...) by sins and virtues
