Universum Is a single player game were at any time a friend can jump in and start playing with you locally as you kill enemy ships and try to increase your total score. Along the way you will find, Boss fights, power-ups, upgradable weapons and more in the ultimate battle throught the Universe. I also managed to make a system that will allow you to tweet your score through the game. This is a nifty little feature that I hope will get people competing with their friends to see who can get the highest score. Features: - Single Player & Player 2 Jump-in - Xbox 360 Controller compatibility - Two different randomly spawning bosses - Infinity and random dynamic background - Random spawning loot (asteroids) - Random spawning enemy (still managed as if there is levels) - Twitter score shout - Random death messages (determined by score) - Loot and Power-up upgrades - Autosaving option menu (such as, change of control type & enable soun - Game Jolt Trophies - Game Jolt High score

It’s a new year and tons has happened since the last post.

Also with the start of the new year I have decided to go back to the PC version and scrap it. It was still in an older version of GM and everything about the code design was a mess.
So I am working on porting the android project over to PC format which is proving harder than originally thought.
The new PC version will include all the old upgrades as well as the new, it will be more optimized and down right better to look at.

Hi thanks for the feedback. I agree about the windowed mode that would be good, I am actually working on something for the bosses atm. Atm the flasher power-up does wipe out all the enemies on the screen except the boss.
The thing about the lives, you have 6 lives already, every time you get hit you lose a life.
Finally, screen shake is a cool idea and I may consider that.
