In UndeadSolitude you walk in the shoes of the lone survivor Brandon van Buren. The only men who survived the Brockston Outbreak. The goal of the game is to survive as long as possible before death occurs, either by failing to survive, get infected or by suicide. The player can't win this game. UndeadSolitude is based around three emotions, loneliness, hopelessness and helplessness. In "the government declared quarantine" Brockston there is no chance of escape. The player can't leave the city. Isolated and alone the player must fight until glory and triumph. One important feature in UndeadSolitude is that the player creates their own story line.The story takes places in a fictional city called Brockston in Wyoming, USA. With a population around half a million people. On August 24, 2012, NASA spotted an asteroid with a collision course with earth. The asteroid hits the earth near Brockston. Two days later a group of scientists spotted the impact site and start studying the comet. The next day the scientists got sick and were placed in a quarantine room for examination. The doctors find a strange virus in the blood circulation of the scientists. The doctors declare in a research report that the victims are extremely aggressive, the brain function declines and a strong urge for cannibalism occurs. Also as the report stated, this virus does not occur on earth naturally, this means that the virus has come to earth by the asteroid. This also means that life is possible beyond earth. The virus spreads via blood contact with another person. For an unknown reason the infected scientists escaped out their quarantine room and broke free into Brockston On September 21, 2012, the United Nations have an emergency debate and come with the conclusion that in order to save humanity Brockston will be placed under total quarantine. Complete chaos and panic starts. After several days the army arrives in helicopters to fly above and around Brockston to slaughter the infected and non-infected people. Two days later all the electric power is shut down. All around the world major strikes occurs saying they want to stop the Brockston slaughtering. Two months after the outbreak the player wakes up in a random bed and finds out he is THE only survivor left.In order to survive the player must loot the city for food and drinks and a safe place to sleep, this all while there are zombies trying to kill the player. The player also need to defend themselves against the zombies. This is possible by looking for guns or by crafting object in order to make a gun. The player can barricade doors, this way the player can create a safe-house. The player can also use drugs in order to stay awake or to sleep, it can also help to move around faster. One downside about using drugs that it will cause hallucination, auditory and visual. The other downside is that the overall health of the player declines. Multiplayer has also been announced by Taksin Games.
