Why? The modding community for UFO trilogy games is small or today it doesent even exists anymore because kinda low moddability at that time...

Actually, in my opinion Aftermath has the best combat system. Why? Because out of all XCOM inspired games thus (Extraterrestrials, Aftershock, Afterlight) it's the only game where my soldiers will actually take cover behind a wall and shoot from it instead of standing like ducks and waiting for me to press the duck key.
It's never too late for a party as long as you make it unforgettable.
These mod tools came out way to late. Party ended, a long time ago.

Well, Aftermath isn´t a true sequel, but not bad. I like the gameplay and the overall present feeling of "I´ve seen that somewhere else"

It isnt even from the x-com series, the authors have stated that their idea was "inspired" by x-com and nothing more :P
Aftermath bascially sucks, the original ufo defense and TFTD games were many times better and... well... better. I'm waiting for the true sequel :P
