Hey Guys, After a great start here on indiedb, I've been busy at work on Twist. So far I've been working on the first few levels and solving a few little bugs and the like.
I'm aiming for some really fun gameplay in the levels and so I'll be doing a lot of experimenting until I find the right balance of difficulty and success to make it fun. So far I don't have much to show as I've also been busting some bugs but I do have a couple of new images.
Spikes on the side of walls or from above can be surprisingly painful, I'm hoping to add some extra features like these to add to the challenge of the game.
I also elevated the camera a bit and altered the field of view to capture more of the scene, making obstacles a bit easier to see. I will soon be moving into a testing phase for the levels and so I will be needing Alpha testers, although I may well do that through Desura. If anybody would like to help, please don't hesitate to message me and I will get something sorted out.
I am aiming for an 8th September release which will consist of the first few levels as an alpha, as I add more and more levels, there will be more features added and so that will work nicely with the alpha releases.
Finally, last but not least, I have a new Facebook page at Facebook.com, please like, share and whatever else you do with your Facebook pages and make sure your friends see this, I know the game doesn't look much at the moment, but I'm determined to make this a good game no matter what it takes.
