XY Cannon
ArcadeXY Cannon: control two cannons at the same time. A tribute to Jeff Minter's Laserzone, featuring psychedelic backgrounds and over the top explosions...
Traversal was an idea I came up with in December 2014. I played around with the prototype I made shortly after and threw it into full production in late May 2015. The game is a fairly simple action game with one main objective: traverse the screen as many times as you can without dying or the timer running out. With each traversal the field will change and any objects left behind will change in various ways. Even the player object will change too.
Traversal is inspired by the ideas that I see people come up with in game jams and I took the challenge of making a quick turnaround with this game.
Traversal is now available via itch.io!
