Travelogue is an exploration-based RPG. You can play one of three classes, each with a different set of skills and a different goal, and journey through the Midlands in search of fame and fortune. As a Merchant you can make your way through trade and market manipulation; as a Mercenary you can delve into dungeons and fight monstrous creatures; as a Scout you can take perilous paths to difficult-to-reach places and explore ancient ruins. The game features a region system in which the tone of each of the game's six regions is set by the choices made by the players. If a player chooses a cut-throat way of solving a problem, that region gets a little more callous, not just in that player's version of the game but in everyone's.
