There are commands and apps you can use for extracting, revising, and re-packing Ravenshield\System *.u files. Use the DOS dialog box (or console) to do your extracting. Follow the instructions below:
1. Type cmd in RUN.
2. Then change directory by typing cd c:\program files\red storm entertainment\ravenshield\system.
3. Then you type ucc batchexport R6Menu class uc ..\R6Menu\Classes -mod=Mods.
4. It will then load your R6Menu folder to C:\Program Files\Red Storm Entertainment\Ravenshield.
5. Then use WOTGreal to edit the files under R6Menu\Classes folder.
6. Use the console (DOS dialog box) and go thru steps 1 and 2. Then type ucc make R6Menu -mod=Mods.
7. Then use UMake apps to re-pack the R6Menu folder.
8. Move the re-packed R6Menu.u file to Ravenshield\System.Download links for WOTgreal is click here. And the download link for UMake is click here.
This is a bad idea; DO NOT DO THIS! Several reasons:
1) It will break your game installation. You will be unable to play multiplayer anymore, and if you really screw things up, you won't be able to start the game at all.
2) The method given will NOT extract the scripts in an editable format. It will only extract a few basic variables, which means you can't actually code new things.
3) The method given cannot recompile. The game as it currently exists cannot compile scripts into U files. In order to compile you need to download the SDK
