'A tractor'.. (or 'The Universal', either way)... is an online game for PC. Play games, explore the galaxy, or make your own world with your own game design. Various game types are available - including complex social economies - and you can play it all for free. If you're the creative type you'll find extensive in-game tools and a powerful scripting engine to let you create new game ideas. Or you can just mess around and blow each other into ostriches. It's all cool, whatever.

With all the revamp going on with The Universal, ideally and namely that we no longer are all in space, we've all stood around and asked ourselves: Where are we headed? We've come a long ways and gone down some narrow and whacky corridors in The Universal these past 9 or so years of the games existence. Starting this December Mit, dropped a bomb on us all and totally revamped the way we view the game. Really, for those of us who know better, everything we miss is still there, albeit with the introduction of a game play narrative curve ball thrown in. So, finally the moment we have all been looking so earnestly forward to happens in a good 48 hour so from now. I am writing in hopes of the few who might happen by this feature, that you give us a shot, download the client, login and partake in the closure of Chapter 1, namely the end of doing nothing but sitting around, watching the rain and eating berries. As a quick fly by introduction, the Universal is just one of those games that almost everything inside has been made by the hard work and creativity of the community. From textures, to models, hell even the arcade mini games found on Planets inside taverns. If modeling, programming or art are your cup of Joe, then I implore you to come check out what the game has to offer. Many of us have been playing for countless years now due to the fact that the game is a community driven collaborative effort.

In the closing event we'll be having races, crow tournaments, jokes, laughter, and well quite literally one hell of a gathering and party, monkeys included. There is going to be lots to learn, discover, and talk about. Namely the issues raised are:

typo_help
Where are we headed?
How will we get there?
Whats the Ark, and the Tower?
Who is the true Prophet?
Is the planet of Genesis as we know it truly going to flood?

For more on all of this, head on over to the website, grab the client here, register and login. Say hello, ask for help. We are more than friendly people. You can find me in-game as Malkiah, for starters.
