Articles - The Stranger Loop

The Stranger Loop is a short series of explorations of some interesting ideas that exist in the arcade game "Asteroids". The tools used to perform those explorations are partly verbal, partly in the level design, and partly in your hands. It looks at the questions of "what shape is the universe?" "What does it mean to create or work with a four-dimensional object?" And "Do programmers often truly understand their own creations?"
