The Real Texas is an action adventure game that plays like a mashup of Zelda: Link to the Past and Ultima VI. Sam, an ordinary Texas rancher, is on holiday in England when he falls into a blue portal and lands in Strange, Texas. The Real Texas is a pretty even balance between exploration/problem solving, and shooting/dungeons. There are no standard fetch quests or the like but the NPCs in the game all play a part in the unfolding of the story.

I think the price is about right even if I got it through the Indie royal and didn't have to pay the full price, but I still feel it would be worth it. it's longer than most indie games, more fully developed than most indie games and more interesting than most indie games. It's what you see it is not trying to be something it isn't and it dose the things it tries to do really well. it wouldn't hurt the game to have a log that notes down points of interests, but in total 10/10 would play again.

Ok, i played enough to make some decisions about this game.
Pros:
It have plot!
Good Music
Very carefully crafted levels, especially castle interiors
Overall funny and pleasant gameplay
Hard-to-die game.
Ability to dress-up character, in Swan dress especially

Cons
Characters is UGLY
Sometimes some models looks very rough
Plot is not very epic
Many of puzzles is completely unobvious
Small inventory size.

Overall - its nice game with little scent of Zelda and lot of adventures. You will have to shoot things, carry things, search things. talk to characters and try to figure that is going on.
I feel a lot а potentioal in this game, but unfortunately its not become "crazy enough" to be cult game.
But its really good!
