Features
Hi everyone, I hope everyone had a great start in this new year.
If you followed my recent twitter posts, you will know what this news post is about. For those who don't know; 'The Hunt for Slenderman' is currently on stand-still. The reason for this is the notebook the project was on, it's hard-drive decided, without warning, to give in. That means it requires a new hard-drive. To make matters worse, there wasn't a backup of 'The Hunt for Slenderman'. Which means that everything that was worked on is now gone.
This is an unfortunate turn of events and as the developer of this game, I apologize to everyone that dearly looked forward to this game. Now the question is, will it be discontinued? Simple answer, NO! Even though everything is lost, this gives me the opportunity to choose one of two choices. Firstly, I can either gather more resources for the and wait until I have my notebook is fixed or I can study game development further and recreate this game into a fully fledged 3D game with some of the same features expressed in the earlier versions (this does not include the text-based mechanic).
I would like to hear you guys thoughts about this decisions that will ultimately help me make the right decision. Comment here, send me a private message or tweet your suggestions to my twitter account here.
Again, I apologize about this bad news but I will still provide some updates over at my twitter account and will have 'The Hunt for Slenderman' up and running again.
Until then, enjoy the rest of the day.

The Hunt for Slenderman Development progress #3 featuring game updates and when an Alpha might be released.
Quite awhile now that I didn't post anything but that's purely because of the hard work I'm putting in my game; 1151 lines of code so far and still lots of coding to do.
Hi everyone! I'm working on the interface tonight for my game so be sure to check out the upcoming news post from me between tomorrow and Thursday.
Hello everyone! I'm going put some effort in tonight for my game, so expect a news update between tomorrow and Friday.
While I hate the 1000 slenderman related indie games out there already, making it text based brings down even lower. I have never met a single person who likes text based games.
I like them, but with some tweaking, not just "where yo go up or down?", I mean, something more thinking and original.
Yeah those were just for testing purposes, I'm going to add a decision tree that will allow for better choices and consequences.

Whilst I understand your criticism, this game is going to be more than just an ordinary text-based game. This game is aimed to bring out the mythology of slender man, not a 'search an amount of pages or items to beat the game'. I don't expect people to like this game, and yes, the popularity of text-based games is pretty low, but I will continue developing this game until it's finished.
Looks like an interesting game. It sounds like this will take a long time to develop fully though.
Thanks! Yeah, it's gonna take awhile, especially with the storyline and all the different choices you can make in the game.
