Back Story
Its been 1 year now since my best friend passed away. Ive still never been told how she was killed, in fact no-one has. Im convinced theres something they don't want to tell us. The last i knew Laura went on holiday to some central american jungle, it was a GAP year, her year off, her year to enjoy her-self. She always had a thing about drums and the way in which different cultures interpret them. I guess this is why she chose central america. She took a video camera, she would always send me videos of her adventures. If your wondering why i didn't go it is simply because i am caught up in University and i am not fortunate enough to be getting any time to my-self lately. Anyway things didnt seem right. Her videos were becoming less frequent and Laura was acting... strange, she seemed more depressed but continued to show her stubbornness and put on a brave face. One night she sent a video... she was sat there playing a big drum, only it wasnt just her playing i could hear other drums, yet see no other person, this timed she was so depressed she didn't even manage to pull together a smile in-fact she just starred at the camera and then turned it off... that was the last i had seen of her. I had spoken to people in from around jungles there that worked with her for her drum lessons and they said "she came to this village at her own risk..." that is all they told me. I have been having these weird dreams lately with drum sounds, maybe they mean something aswell as the howler monkey which is common in those areas, dam those creepy monkeys.
Hey guys, bad news. Don't worry the game is not being cancelled. It is being made single player. Possibly multiplayer in the future depending on the complexity in order to change it. The concept is similar and i promise to deliver a game to the best of my ability and nothing will be done half heatedly. I completely understand if you un-watch as it is not what was promised. It is something i have been considering for a while now hence the name change. Making it Multiplayer was to much of a big ask in my early, EARLY days of coding. There will hopefully be a video demonstration of progress so far coming soon. Again sorry for any disappointment. Luke.
Youtube.com Hope you guys are enjoying these sneak peaks of the game. Implementing free roaming wild animals soon. Some not as friendly as others mind!

Do you have to be a certain age to voice act? Cause I'm a 15 year old male and I could help you out with voice acting if you need.
Idea - make it playable by 3 players + not only 8. Getting 7 friends to play with you is really hard, while 3 or 4 would be cool for FFA :)
Although it would be easier, there would be longer and more Hunger Games like gameplay if there were more people. maybe the creator can add in a private gamemode, along with different servers to choose from, all with a different map
That is something i have actually looked at, i was going to get a dedicated server for different games, of course getting on a game might be difficult at first but we will go from there when we get there :)
Yes it will be up to 8 players i didnt specify that properly :P
Eeeeh, you sure crowd-funding is a good idea for your very first game? I don't think I'd be able to withstand that kind of pressure of owing all the people who donated a polished complete product, especially if I were in your shoes and I didn't have many skills just yet.
Don't get me wrong, I mean I'm working on my project all alone too, but even now when I've already been a part of other projects and I know what the hell I'm doing I'm still not comfortable with the idea of crowd-funding a project I'm doing by myself. Maybe you ought to hold off on the funding til a bit later in development or something, otherwise you'll end up being another one of those horror stories of people tracking you down, sending you scary e-mails and what not because you took their money and didn't have the ability to follow through.
Ok maybe i will hold off for now then :)
