When you start the game you become trapped in the nightmare world of the Hat Man. To escape you must find all the clues with instructions on how to stay alive, while not letting him catch you. This single player survival horror game has a creepy environment, chilling sound, an unnerving storyline, and an unrelenting monster that all add up to a hair-raising experience. The game was designed for those who enjoy genuine terror. With a combination of exploration and vulnerability, the game is a symphony celebrating the masochistic joy of fear. The Hat Man is a tall, dark character that is part of a group called the shadow people. These shadow people have been seen all over the world. It is believed by some that the Hat Man comes to visit you to collect your soul. With a creative base of familiar mechanics, The Hat Man: Shadow Ward adds a dynamic level generator for endless sets of rooms and the layout is different every time you play it.

Work continues on the game. We have been adding new areas and features. And notice that we no long have a page counter on the top! I know of several commenters that will like to hear that.
Several weeks ago we submitted our build to Desura in hopes to release our public alpha. But, we have not heard back from them. The good news is that we are in the top 100 on steam, so we might be greenlit soon!

The download will come Before/After May ... Unfortunately, the video's we see about it was the Kickstarter Project that is paid and has end so we don't have a chance to play it. But like i said, we must wait until the Alpha is Finish :D

I like the atmosphere and some of the scares, but right now, this is basically yet another Slender clone. Haven't we got enough already? Some gameplay variety would be nice. I really hope you'll drop the overused page collecting formula and do something different.
