Great !

Thanks for the revival. I love the game, I was missing this kind of action-RPG.
I used to play it on Xbox, but the point and click version is really cool :)

Where could I get the music ?

Excellent story. A bit short but expecting an update soon.
Thanks for this.

I have been looking around a long time to find surch a game. The music is great and the scenario well made. I can recommand this game to all classic Action-RPG fans.

I really liked this game but I think the animation could be improved, not the graphics in general (like old-school games) but the details of the animation.

The Fall of Gods is a fine homage to the 16-bit era action-rpg, with many side quests to occupy you, and secrets to explore. I felt its vast overworld and dungeons were well designed, and particularly loved working through "The Moats", in Arlan castle; the puzzles of which had just enough difficulty to make you think, without being too cryptic or frustrating.
There are several ways to control the game, including keyboard only, mouse only, or both, but I prefer to sit back with a controller like the good ol' console days.
Things can be a little rough around the edges at times, (i.e. An occasional typo, or the game sometimes forgetting to tell you which item you just picked up) but taking into account the small indie team behind it, these are minor faults and nothing at all game-breaking.
I might've awarded TFOG an 8 or 9, but after I initially had a bug which greatly hindered gameplay, GeexGames customer service was so excellent (he actually patched the game specifically to address the problem) that I feel it deserves a 10. Such dedication is rare and refreshing. It's obvious the creator genuinely cares about his product.

Agree Disagree

Awesome game that not just claims to be like Zelda or Secret of Mana but actually sucessfully pulls it off. The number of NPCs each with quests is amazing and fun.

There's a lot of solid gameplay, but this title could use a lot of polish.

The text is grammatically awkward at best, hindering the delivery of both gameplay instructions and story. The default keyboard controls are a bit strange, with the two most-commonly-used action keys (X and enter) being on opposite sides of the keyboard instead of next to each other. There's no obvious connection between the animations and the actual ranges of the melee weapons. Oh, and save frequently, because it's possible to get stuck in place if you move around in just the wrong way and have to load your last save.

On the other hand, despite all of that, the game is fun, and there's a whole lot of it there, making it a great value for the money. This is clearly a labor of love by a fairly small developer, and it is worth overlooking some of the rough edges to see it play out. Try the demo; the saves carry over and it will give a very good idea of whether the game is your type of thing. Oh, and the music is great, aside from the random interludes that play at in-game "dawn" and "dusk" interrupting it.
