It's a simple platform game, with unusual mechanisms. In the game you control a mage. He can't jump, he can't fly and he can't cast deadly spells. His only skill consist of teleporting himself wherever his crystal ball is. Having that, we must gather all the coins to open the exit and then finish the level. Each level, apart from just playing it right through the end, will have a time to beat. If we beat that time, we will unlock a treasure. So, what is exactly a treasure? Well, discover it by yourselves. Right now they don't have a specific function but making you smile, but we're planning them to modify the playability of the game.

There are new changes at The Castle Escape project: Updated media.

Hi folks,

A new actor has been implemented to help Tonka on their escape. This is a "rope" element but don't expect a dynamic box2d rope, it's just a simple static rope and we are happy with this, we don't want too many random issues in our game.

Here is a screenshot while testing one of our bonus levels. Is something familiar to you?

Game looks nice so far, but I really think you should make the backgrounds different color bricks. Think like Terraria's kinds of bricks.

In that case, I'd say it doesn't need just a different color bricks. It needs different textures (and notice the plural) for the background, so it doesn't eat up too much attention with it's "huge blob" feel.
