The Black Rose Windows, Mac, Linux game

In this Visual Novel you'll be playing as a young man from a recently destroyed mercenary family. Even with his family gone however, he still carries the reputation, which can be both good and bad. An opportunity is presented to him and he can begin again in a new life.

Our aim is to tell the story of this young man and make it exciting and entertaining, calling for multiple playthroughs.

Our goal:

• Ripple effects: Your actions and choices affect the story you're going to see

• Romance options: With an array of support characters, there will be a few whom you can charm into a relationship, or crash and burn if you aren't careful

"Highlander is from an infamous mercenary family but is the only remaining living member of that family. Being highly trained in warfare, combat and killing, he takes on jobs most wouldn’t because they pay well, though he tends to try and finish them quickly so he can return home to his fiancé. After a rather ordinary job, Highlander returns home to find something he never expected, betrayal. Broken, Highlander walked toward a ‘Queen’s Nest’, a cave filled to the brim with monster insects. He went there to kill as many bugs as possible, but preferably to die. Though fate would not allow it. Returning to town with the queen’s head and a new companion, Highlander collects his reward then leaves this old home behind him. Three years had passed when Highlander came to the next chapter in his life. Having served in the military, which is no small feat as the army tends not to take in mercenaries, he had gotten quite the reputation. This is why he was chosen to be the first agent of a new order, founded by the crowned princess, The Order of the Black Rose."
