Tank Smasher is a fast paced 4 player local coop tank action pvp game. The main idea of the game is that it should bring back that 4 players playing side by side concept in a fast paced and fun environment. The game will feature a diverse ammount of powerups that will make the game even faster and more intense to give players that feeling we all had on super smash bros when another player was chasing after you. The focus of this project is to create a simple yet fun game that I can finish in a small ammount of time. I have yet to release a title of wich I'm quite proud of, and I hope this one assumes that position. The game will be published for webGL on kongregate and similar websites and will be avaiable as an early access title as soon as it turns into actually playable. Networking is a feature I'm still considering, it might just distance my objective for this game while increasing too much of dev time.

This update's focus has been on the lobby system. After that I added in the wooden boxes and did a first oficial playtest. I am quite happy with the results as all of the playtesters understood the purpose of the game without much effort, they all had fun playing it.

Complete Changelog :

-Added a lobby for the game that organizes wich gamepad/keyboard is wich player.
-Added support for keyboard + 3 other controllers.
-Fixed Problem with score being bugged due to Lobby.
-Fixed Json Files not being written on.
-Added a Main Menu Screen.
-Added Option to Quit the game on the main menu.
-Added Option to Start the game locally on the main menu.
-Added Toggle Input option on the main menu.

-Players now spawn with different tank colors.

-Wooden Boxes are now Destroyed when shot at.
-Wooden Boxes’ rubble are now thrown away from the shot’s explosion.

-Optimized the way broken wooden boxes work.
-Added Explosion VFX upon player death.
-Fixed an issue that was preventing a part of the explosion from appearing.
