20x20 4-player This map is for Supreme Commander Forged Alliance with the 1.5.3599 patch and has not been tested with earlier versions, later versions (newest beta patch) or the original Supreme Commander. HazardX MarkerEditor (v.921) and ScenarioEditor (v.471) was used to finalize the map.

Hey there. Im a noob when it comes to downloading your maps, or any map for that reason with SC: FA. First off, I dont have a Mods folder in my documents/mygames/GPG/SCFA folder. I only have replays and savedgames. Second, I save your map files in my localdisc(C)/programfiles/THQ/GPG/SCFA/MAPS. K, now I extract in that same folder (right?). Now I have 2 copies, the extracted files and the zip folder. I open the game SCFA and click the map, it doesnt show a preview of the map in the left corner, like it does on the preinstalled maps, I click to play against 1 computer AI just to see if it works. I click LAUNCH and it loads the game, then I all of a sudden goes back to the main title screen. After this, or even sometimes before this, it says as Im clicking LAUNCH that I dont have this map. In addition to all this, when I try to change maps I cant, it locks up at the game options screen and I have to ctl+alt+del to start the task manager and close out the game. I have the newest patch so that cant be the problem. What are some solutions you suggest?

The only folder you should have in your "localdisc(C)/programfiles/THQ/GPG/SCFA/MAP" is "Helens_v1_SLi-Fox" folder and not the zip file. Also, if you've patched past 1.5.3599, it won't run. GPG keeps changing things around everytime they release a patch and the tools available for creating maps aren't keeping up. If you want to play my maps, I would suggest re-installing the game and patching it up to 1.5.3599.
I registered specifically to thank you for making these maps. I especially like Europe and North America. What would be nice is if we could get elevations and forests etc done for these maps.
