Some of you may have played Straw Hat Samurai 1 and 2 a long time ago. As players seemed to like those games, I thought to give it a shot and try making a multiplayer version. Under-estimation of the workload involved and lots of feature-creep resulted in the game that you see now =)
3 years ago I quit my day job to pursue my passion in making games and work on SHS:Duels full-time. After years of coding everyday and working with freelancers on things that I cannot produce that well myself like some art and music, Season 1 of SHS:Duels is finally ready to be officially released to the public!
I am still improving the game and will be updating it regularly. Work on Season 2 has started and mobile versions (iOS/Android) are also on the way!
Please feel free to leave a suggestion if you have ideas on how the game can be improved. Also feel free to drop me a PM if you would like to discuss game development or share experiences. It is always nice to get to know and talk shop with other game developers.
