Clunk - The Miner
When humanity realized that it needed to settle on another planet, there was great debate amongst the elite about how they could best ensure their survival when they got there.
It was well understood that upon arriving the to alien planet there would be no goods or services and resources would have to be gathered manually. Sending heavy equipment was not an option due to it's sheer weight and a lack of fuel. So instead, they decided to gather the prisoners and augment their bodies to support 3x the weight. There was great outcry from the citizens of Earth at first but soon they subsided when the general populace realized just how dire the situation was. If there were no extremely strong miners humanity would have a lesser chance of survival upon arriving.
So the surgical spine replacements began... Utilizing the latest in biotech the prisoners could now lift 3x the weight and have no need to sleep. They could also gain the ability to detect rare reasources undeground.
Clunk was one of these prisoners. Perhaps it was unforunate what has happened to him, but he soon became a hero amongst the people because of his amazing ability to mine reasources on the new strange planet with ease.
Weapons:
Axe - Chop trees down with this starter weapon.
Pick-Axe - Get reasources with this starter weapon.
Shovel - Dig tight tunnels with this starter weapon.
Unique Abilities: - See unique reasources underground such as metal and stone.
