Capturing the drama and epic conflict of Star Wars, Battlefront II brings the fight online. Attention to detail and scale make this game a joy to behold, with 16 incredible new battlefronts such as Utapau, Mustafar and the space above Coruscant, as well as the Death Star interior and Tantive IV, Princess Leia's blockade runner seen at the beginning of the original Star Wars.

We all know about Marvel4's conversion pack, which includes all maps from BF2004 and it's great but here's the thing.

He obviously excluded Hoth: Echo base and Endor: Bunker maps, because those made it in BF2. Howewer Hoth looks a bit different in BF2004:

1)Command room used to have a CP

2)You could reach the shield generator trought a tunnel

3)Hallways connecting hangar and command room have different layout

4)Minimap looked different

What I'm asking for, is that if someone could make a simple conversion of 2004 version of the map in the same way Marvel4 did. I would like to do it but I still suck at BF2 modding. Im gonna end this with screenshots of both versions minimaps.

Realistically I'd prefer a combination of the two so it includes the old features, but then also the back cave as shown at the top left of the SWBF2 map

I agree. Its only in the campaign that you get to play in that back area. It would be a good way for the game to start big (wide battlefield) then go small (narrow corridors).

That is a good idea.
