In Star Gazer you start out as a lonely mercenary, from then on you can create a small asteroid mining business, or create a fleet of pirate ships that will scare the small time merchants. Either way, it is your choice. You will be able to decide whether you want to personally manage everything or leave everything to the computer. Load user-created ships, weapons, systems and sub-systems or create your own!

I talk about what will be included in the Pre-Alpha 0.3 of Star Gazer

I am currently working on the Pre-Alpha 0.3 of Star Gazer, the update will include some core framework which will make integrating moding solutions much easier. The moding system will integrate our engine Unity in the process. I chose Unity as our engine as more people are familiar with it and it is much easier for people to use whereas with other engines we would have to create our own tools. The next major thing that I am working on is the fleet system.

As you can see in our trailer, the fleet will follow you (the fleet captain), different ships will follow at different paces. In order to do this I have added a couple more ships which you can see here:

Apart from that the next update will come sometime this week. Either next Saturday or somewhere in the mid-week.
