A short update on the progress of the game, mainly focusing around the deadlines.

Hey there,

Here's a little progress update on the game. First of all, we didn't make the 1st of july deadline. While it was more an aiming point than a deadline, we still tried to make it ready for release on that date. Due to us running into some problems code-wise and real life-wise, we didn't make the date.

I'm working fulltime weeks now, but zeroseconds has more time now to spend on coding. He's currently working on better graphics in the game, and to prepare a prototype GUI which is contains proper graphics. My spare time is mostly devoted to finishing up the connections between every gameplay element. After that, we will be going to playtest it a bit, so we make sure it's mostly crash-free and fun to play. For that reason, we set a new deadline at the 20th of july. An extra added reason for this date is that it's right before a weekend, so first-day purchasers already have a full weekend to play the game.

Our main priority is to produce a well-playable game right at the start. That's quite a daunting task, but we're very nearby the first checkpoint (being a well-playable alpha build). Once that goal has been reached, we'll release the Alpha.

It's ready for release when it's ready.

Till the next time!
