A group of stalkers, for the first time, reaches the very heart of the Zone-the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant-and triggers a cataclysm on the brink of a catastrophe. An immense blast of anomalous energy transforms the Zone: the once reliable and relatively safe roads are no longer so, the landscape is wiped clean by outbursts of anomalies, and previously unknown areas appear on the Zone map. Stalkers and expeditions perish or end up isolated within the lost territories.

+interesting story

+good faction balance
+many improvements since Shadow of Chernobyl:
+faction wars
+squad displaying
+dark nights
+atmosphere is better
+gunplay is pretty good
+upgrade system
+great simulation AI
+amazing battle AI

+-mediocre mods except some gems like The Faction War

-repeatable side-quests

I was trying to finish this game (1.5.10) 5 times, managed to do it only one time, with The Faction War. I couldn't finish original game, still don't know the ending. Tried installing Sky Reclamation Project, but with it I couldn't escape from great swamps. In vanilla I always got stucked after giving compass to forester, can not speak to those mercs :/
