This mod from Beyonder makes the PDA and mini-map maps look more like satellite imagery.

Q: What?
A: This mod makes the PDA and minimaps look somewhat like satellite imagery.
Q: Why?
A: I didn't like the vanilla map. And the minimap in vanilla GUI was hard to see sometimes.
Q: V2 coming?
A: Skipped history classes? WW2 has ended. As for this mod, no idea. Maybe, maybe not.
Q: I CANT SEE MAH STASHIS!?
A: Did you extract only texturesmap instead of the whole shebang? Vanilla stashs markers are very hand to see with this version so I've included a modified ui_common.dds to fix that.
Q: WHATS TEH PASSWERD?!
A: Read the readme (this text file would be it).
Q: Compatible with mod X? Or Y?
A: Compatible with any mod which does not alter the files mentioned in uninstall section.

Installation
Unpack "gamedata" directory in the zip to X:StalkerCS (or where every you might have it installed) with directory structure intact.
Then make a tiny change in fsgame.ltx. Change the line beginning with "$game_data$" to "$game_data$ = true| true| $fs_root$| gamedata".

Uninstall
Remove following files from gamedatatexturesmap

map_darkvalley.dds
map_escape.dds
map_garbage.dds

map_military.dds

map_yantar.dds
Remove following files from gamedatatexturesui
ui_common.dds
ui_global_map.dds
