A group of stalkers, for the first time, reaches the very heart of the Zone-the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant-and triggers a cataclysm on the brink of a catastrophe. An immense blast of anomalous energy transforms the Zone: the once reliable and relatively safe roads are no longer so, the landscape is wiped clean by outbursts of anomalies, and previously unknown areas appear on the Zone map. Stalkers and expeditions perish or end up isolated within the lost territories.
This mod from PieJesu will replace all the scopes and reticles in the game.
This mod changes all the scopes and reticles in the game.
The SVD/PSO-1 Reticle is calibrated for the SVD Sniper Rifle which will allow accurate use of the arc rangefinder.
The G36/FT-2000 Reticle is replaced by a Mil-Dot reticle and is once again calibrated for use.
The SUSAT Reticle now uses a more realistic texture for the pyramid.
The RPG Reticle now uses a 'Nightforce NSX RPG Aiming Reticle' and is also calibrated for usage.
How to Use the Reticles:
The SVD Rangefinder arc is easy to use. Simply fit the 1.7m target tightly inbetween the bottom and top of the arc.
Multiply the closest number by 100 to get the range in meters.
The G36/FT-2000 Reticle is a bit more difficult. Count the number of dots the target occupies and then
divide the height of the target by the number of dots and then multiply by 1000 or 500 to get the range in meters.
(depending on the magnification of the scope)
eg. A 1.7m target taking up 3 dots (1.7/3 * 1000) will be roughly 560 meters away.
The SUSAT Reticle still utilises the pyramid.
The RPG Reticle is used by fitting the target between the circles. Fire depending on the size of the target and
circle used. The circles differ in range by 50m from largest to smallest so using two reference points (objects
the same size) you should be able to judge the range to the target.
1. In fsgame.ltx in Clear Sky rootdirectory change the first false to true
at the parameter $game_data$, so it looks like this:
$game_data$ = true | true | $fs_root$ | gamedata
2. Put the folder "gamedata" from this mod in Clear Sky rootdirectory.
Example: C:GamesS.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Clear Skygamedata
