Call of Pripyat takes you once again into the vicinity of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor that exploded in 1986. This so-called "Zone" is a highly contaminated area cordoned off by the military and now is combed through by the so-called stalkers, modern fortune hunters, in search of unique artifacts. In the role of Agent Alexander Degtyarev, who is dressed up as stalker, you have to investigate the mysterious disappearance of five military helicopters and thereby stand one’s ground against the various stalker groups.
txr_disguise.script for the anomaly 1.5.0 [BETA 3.0] Update 2:
an alternative script for the disguise mechanics with a cleaned up npc logic and new factors included into calculations:
- the actor's rank (representing how recognisable he is);
- npcs' faction(s) (if the same as the actor's true or bogus one, makes the disguise harder);
- npcs' natural trust/naiveness (lowering their suspicion level).
also, the meter is much more discreet and not so obvious.
note: with these changes it is harder to stay in disguise for long; being quick, keeping the distance (especially from npcs who may know the actor) and waiting for opportunities (like a mutant or other faction attack) becomes a really good approach.
copy, move or paste the 'gamedata' folder into the game main directory (where the 'fsgame.ltx' is).
allow any folder merge/replace if asked; any dialog about replacing files means that this is not compatible with whatever already installed.
savegame compatible, no new game needed.
