Valchion is a action RPG with retro graphics and simple mechanics. It features bright, GameBoy Color-styled visuals, and a (hopefully) memorable soundtrack. It should be released for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. It's also being made with the Blender Game Engine, which features fast game creation and no time spent exporting to an external engine.

Back from some breaks to game updates on Soldier Of. This one basically deals with the addition of a new enemy and a new item.

Hey. So, here's an update on the progress of Soldier Of. Sorry that I've been taking my time with this update, but my computer went down awhile back, and I was pretty busy until a couple of weeks ago. So, here's what's going on with Soldier Of.

To be honest, I don't really feel like working on this much more, particularly knowing that I won't really want to release it for purchasing until it's absolutely finished (or at least until a multiplayer portion's finished), but I don't want to abandon it, either, so I'll continue to press on. :) Maybe I'll start working on the multiplayer survival portion soon, rather than the story mode and game world.

Anyway, right now, I'm working on implementing grenades into the game.

The grenade will be a powerful tool in both exploration and combat. It's pretty dangerous, as it's an explosive, so it can injure both allies (and you) and enemies, so you've got to be careful about where you chuck one. However, the powerful explosive capabilities of the grenade can also break down cracked and weakened walls, so they're very useful in exploration, as well.

They should also be pretty useful in dealing with these guys:

This is a robotic turret. It'll keep on watch for you, and when it sees you, it'll start volleying bullets at you. It's pretty dangerous, and it'll probably be impossible to take on head-on, so you'll have to figure out ways to attack it from behind cover or otherwise avoid it.
