2 years ago a little indie game called Solar was released on Xbox LIVE Indie Games. It went on to critical acclaim and sold tens of thousands of copies. It was praised for its innovative and original gameplay.
Although it was carried well with its core gameplay, it was filled with flaws and lack of polish. 2 years on my game dev skills have improved dramatically and the sequel is ready, Solar 2.
Solar 2 features a vast open-world, sandbox universe to explore. You control objects directly and travel around growing and destroying what you find. It's hard to explain because it isn't like any other game I've played before, and I can't compare it to anything. There are no boundaries, there are no pauses, there is nothing to break immersion.
Solar 2 is coming to Steam, Xbox LIVE Indie Games and various other PC distributors around roughly June, pending release issues or what not. It will be $10 on PC and 400ms points on Xbox.
