While the game was fun and had excellent levels of interactivity as well as superb visuals, but it was too short and had no more then four weapons available.

Most of the time it felt like I was playing an ambitious Half-life 2 mod rather then a commercial game. It's a shame there won't be a follow up to this, it could have been improved upon.

But I suppose that's how life goes sometimes, and for what it is, it's still entertaining and searching for easter eggs in every level never gets old :)

Good but short, the ambience, the backstory and almost everything made me remind Deux Ex, in some manner Sin is a couple of years before Deux Ex talking of the thechnological development, a couple of years before augment implants appear... or maybe in other part of the word.

a great game with a few flaws. running on valves source engine. Sin episodes Emergence was 1 in a series of episodes but in the end this was the only one released. still a great fun game though.

Awesome hidden gem game!

Someone has to remaster the original SiN and combine it with this game, i believe DooM3's engine would be perfect for the task

Pros:
- Contains familiar modding tools (Source & Hammer).
- It is an old game at this point so it is cheap (~8€).
- Runs on the Source Engine, so it can run on anything nowadays.
- Challenging combat with a variety of different enemies.
- Good and interesting story.
- Has an arena challenging experience besides the singleplayer.
- Has a lot of Easter Eggs and secrets to find throughout.
- The community is kind of dead, however with Nightdive Studios getting access to the IP this might change in the future.
- It got a great developer team behind it that stood behind a lot of interesting ideas (episodic game model, female characters in videogames).
- Got a dynamic difficulty system in place, so it never gets boring or too easy for the player.
- Got an amazing soundtrack, created by Zak Belica who also worked on C&C Red Alert 3, Bulletstorm, Fortnite etc.
- Got sexually portrayed female characters and boob physics.

Neutral:
- Feels like an ambitious HL2 mod rather than a full game, compared to say Dark Messiah of Might and Magic.
- Only available on the Steam platform.
- Only got access to four different weapon types.
- A lot of the earlier areas feels kind of the same and are much longer than later stages.
- Feels like the series never really got to show what it could achieve with Source, which we would have got a taste of had the second episode got released and had the game sold better.

Cons:
- It is a very short game, maybe 2-3 hours max.
- It has no multiplayer, as the company behind the game shut down before its release.
- The following eight episodes never got released, making it the only in the stack.
- Lots of gameplay mechanics never got utilised to their fullest despite being shown in the game (U4 & Antigen gas).
- Got a very limited set of gameplay mechanics, which could be increased or combined to create more variety.

I rate this game a 10 because it's an overall great & fun experience, it's challenging, but certainly not impossible!
