SimPocalypse is a post-apocalyptic civilization simulator game, where you manage your settlement to become a global empire!
-> Survive the post-apocalyptic times
Establish a strong settlement, gather enough food and other resources for your settlement to not only survive, but begin thriving!
-> Manage your citizens to create a powerful establishment
Every powerful settlement requires great maintenance, workers, scavengers, builders, soldiers,… to be able to survive different events through time and grow the empire despite any challenges and threats it faces.
-> Advance your civilization by researching new buildings, skills and perks
Uncover a massive research tree to unlock new buildings, skills and perks. Will you succeed in global expansion or bring your civilization extinct? The path is up to you...
-> Trade and manipulate the Global Market to your advantage
Have an excess supply or high demand of a resource? – No worries, global market feature lets you sell/buy resources from other settlements. Only the best of traders will take advantage of the demand/supply driven market where your actions affect it.
-> Post-apocalyptic world conquering
The new world order has been established, new leaders have taken over the territories. Everywhere you turn there is an enemy territory you need to conquer with the army you build.
-> Automate while you play
Automation features are revealed separately, to help you rule your post-apocalyptic settlement better.
-> Time-lapse mechanics
Too much to micro-manage at once? Pause the game time when needed to make the best decisions. Time will be stored even when you are not playing, which you can then use to speed up the game and get back to the best parts!

And here I was expecting this game was about a simp apocalypse. The title is rather misleading. Has nothing to do about simping or simps.
The name of the game relates to SIMulation +aPOCALYPSE .We are already considering updating the name into SimPocalypse to make this clearer.
Fair enough.
THE SIMPS ARE ALL OVER US!
Hey Iheanacho, thanks for letting us know your thoughts on the game;)
The name of the game consists of SIMulation + aPOCALYPSE, those 2 words were our original idea for the name of the game. But, we might make this more clear with the logo somewhere in the near future.
We'd love to hear any more of your thoughts, feel free to join our Discord, you're warmly welcome there as we'd like to polish the last things as best as possible, for the most quality EA release on Steam, so any additional ideas/thought before the release are much appreciated!... Have fun and take care! ;)
You may want to rename it Simupocalypse then.
So are you doing a full Canticle of Leibowitz scenario where you start in a new dark age and re-establish globalism through a few centuries of rebuilding or is modern technology available from the get-go?
You are reestablishing the world, resources, building stuff from the get-go, using powers of the research as a main 'powerful feature' that helps you progress and advance. We are still building/expanding a few features that will add interesting variety to the game, having in mind diff random events that will happen on X points, diplomacy, diff eras (modern as well), etc.… so that a player will get a nice experience of expanding through-time when playing Simpocalypse!
